These are my favorite places to catch live music.

North Side Grill -

111 North Main St. - Akron (Downtown Akron)

These aren't your average bar cover bands. With live music every night of the week and an open jam night once in a while, make sure you visit the North Side at least once a week. I know I did when I was attending the University of Akron and I've discovered more bands there that I have tooling around in the Internet.

Blossom Music Center -

1145 W. Steels Corners Rd. - Cuyahoga Falls

A lot of people don't like outdoor concerts, but I say where else can you sneak in a flask and party it up on the lawn? Oh, the best part about the lawn? THERE'S PLENTY OF DANCING ROOM!!

Beachland Ballroom and Tavern -

There's just something great about the ambiance of this place. Imagine seeing one of your favorite lesser-known groups on a stage that resembles the one in your elementary school gymnasium. What's that? The show's over? That's okay, party it up in the tavern! There's probably still a live band playing in there anyway!
