March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction
The annual March of Dimes Cleveland Signature Chefs Auction returned Monday night to Windows on the River with delectable tastings from nearly two dozen of the city's finest chefs.
Hundreds of eventgoers sampled dishes from many of the city's best restaurants including AMP 150, Muse at the Ritz Carlton, The Greenhouse Tavern, Mama Roberto's, Don's Lighthouse, Flour, Pura Vida by Brandt, Lilly Handmade Chocolates, Umami Asian Grill and La Dolce Vita. While sampling, guests also were able to bid on unique silent auction packages.
Halfway through the evening, a panel of judges tasted all the dishes and Noodlecat and Lilly Handmade Chocolates came out on top, winning awards for Noodlecat's yakitori chicken steam bun and Lilly's love potion parfaits.
All proceeds from the event benefit the March of Dimes mission of improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
