'Man v. Food' watch party
On Wednesday night, Melt Bar and Grilled hosted watch parties in Lakewood and at its newest location in Cleveland Heights in anticipation for its episode of 'Man v. Food' on the Travel Channel.
Several months ago, host Adam Richman traveled to Cleveland to take on the Melt challenge—a five-pound platter of grilled cheese gooeyness, housemade fries and coleslaw. In the 30-minute episode, another patron attempted the challenge, but tapped out soon after. After asking for advice and suggestions from the crowd on how to tackle the monstrous grilled cheese sandwich, Richman dove right into his meal. The outcome? Success! His prize? A Melt T-shirt and kudos from Melt owner Matt Fish.
