Presented by FoodWarriors and Clear Cut Promotions, "Fearless: an extreme food event" attracted several dozen risk-taking foodies ready to undertake the ultimate food challenge—live insects, odd animal parts and more.
Held on the rooftop of the Velvet Dog, patrons were able to sample crazy items included hissing cockroaches, superworm shots, antelope tacos, wild boar fritters and lamb heart. Of course, the less brave were given the option of trying deep-fried roaches while a select handful devoured the insects live in just mere seconds.
