I have been frequenting Michael Longos's ML on 306, then I discovered Umami, have never been dissapointed in either one. Umami cuisine is sui generis, delicious and challenging. I like to go there to be surprised. The atmosphere is intimate. I read a comment of someone who was "dissapointed" because they did not have a high chair. Perhaps we should classify Umami for the sophisticated with a sophisticated palate...,not for the meat loaf and potato type.
