While we were a little uneasy about our meals, we knew a cocktail from Empress Taytu's extensive drink menu wouldn’t let us down. Empress Taytu has a small bar (thatched and all) that serves up specialty drinks, unique beers (everything from Rolling Rock to Xingu Black Beer, a full-bodied black lager) and a variety of red and whites from California, Australia and Italy. Go with the Sheba Tej, a traditional Ethiopian honey wine ($6.25 a glass or $24 bottle).
