Service
Walk into Bubba’s Q on any given night, and you’ll likely find the owner rubbing elbows with customers, bringing out piping-hot dishes or directing the show in the kitchen with his gregarious charm. His fun-loving personality clearly rubs off on the rest of the crew.
Employees here seem to really love their jobs. They skip from table to table with such a gee-golly level of enthusiasm that it might seem sarcastic (it’s not) or rehearsed (unlikely).
But friendly service isn’t the same as great service. The pace here can be slow at times, and the waiters appear too infrequently. That’s not to say service is bad either. By the time your meal is finished, it’s balanced enough to make it a non-factor. Again, it’s the BBQ that will leave the lasting impression.
