Part breakfast and part lunch, brunch is the ideal complement to the weekend, where we tend to be a little slower, more relaxed and not overly eager to wake up bright and early.

If you doubt the lure of brunch, look no further than the many area restaurants that now include brunch as part of the lineup. And don’t misinterpret brunch to mean a traditional buffet complete with stale offerings and long lines.
