After 70+ years in the Akron market, Swenson's is still going strong. The beef is ground fresh daily, and that's what makes Swenson's burgers stand out. The service is outstanding too—it's not uncommon to see a server sprint to your car as soon as you pull into the lot. Gotta have a shake with that burger? No problem, there's a massive variety of those, too. And if you're looking for menu items on the "lighter" side, Swenson's does offer a "somewhat healthy" menu that includes salads, egg salad sandwiches, fish and chicken.
