Cleve-Lens: Kate Voegele
Hometown sweetie Kate Voegele returned to Cleveland Sunday to perform before a sold-out crowd at the House of Blues. The Cambridge Room was jam-packed with fans waiting to hear the Bay High School graduate perform. New York folk-pop singer Brendan James opened the show along with acoustic pop artist Matt White. Voegele took the stage about 9 p.m. and performed an hour-long set, which included her new single, "Lift Me Up," from the Team USA Olympics soundtrack. The 20-year-old singer-songwriter also performed two cover songs—Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know" and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." Voegele ended the standing-room-only show with her dance-pop single, "Only Fooling Myself."
