Remember the feeling you got the first time you met one of your favorite artists? About 40 lucky Clevelanders got to experience that “feeling” Wednesday at an exclusive Ingrid Michaelson soundcheck party in the Foundation Room at the House of Blues.
Hosted by Metromix and local radio station Q104, the setting was intimate with just one small corner of the room set up a like a stage. Ingrid walked out all smiles, greeted the crowd and told stories that reflected her quirky personality. She sang a few songs from her latest album “Everybody” and of course her big hit “The Way I Am.” Then came the best part. Fans were able to pose for photos with the indie-pop artist and get autographs.
