Motown 50th Anniversary Weekend
August 2, 2009

When Motown Records is involved, the names Stevie Wonder, Isley Brothers, Jackson 5 and Berry Gordy JR come to mind. On the record label's 50th anniversary, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum threw a weekend-long celebration to honor the Motown artists. "MOTOWN: The Sound of Young America Turns 50" included live music, a DJ dance party with Motown choreography demonstration, exhibits, a screening of rare inductee footage and so much more.
Take a look at our photo gallery to see who came out to celebrate the occasion.
