Matisyahu

Hasidic reggae rapper Matisyahu wasn't short on fans Sunday night at the House of Blues. Performing exactly one week before Hanukkah, the Jewish performer filled the venue and kept the packed house entertained with his high energy and lyrical rhymes. Dressed in traditional Hasidic clothing and white sneakers, Matisyahu (birth name Matthew Paul Miller) performed old hits including "Jerusalem" and "King without a Crown" as well as introduced fans to material from his new album, "Light," which is slated to release in early 2009.
