Cleve-Lens: Jesse McCartney
Credit:Janet Nguyen
Anxious young girls (and women) arrived early Tuesday at the House of Blues in anticipation of the evening's concert. Touring to promote his new CD, "Departure," young pop star Jesse McCartney took to the stage before a large crowd of screaming adolescents and performed all of the CD's hit singles including "Leavin,'" "It's Over" and "How Do You Sleep?" Dressed in a gray suit and white sneakers, McCartney also performed older hits from his debut album including the Billboard chart-topping single, "Beautiful Soul." After an hour-long set and an outfit change, McCartney surprised the audience with a yet-to-be recorded song titled, "Body Language."
