David Cook
September 17, 2009
You know you’ve seen a good concert when you’re ears are still ringing and you’re still “tasting every moment” (sorry, we just couldn’t resist the reference from David Cook's first single) the morning after.
Thursday night was a mad house to say the least for the sold out David Cook show at the House of Blues. Fans pushing and shoving their way up to the front, screams that shook the room, flashes going off left and right…if you’ve got all of those things happening at your show, you’ve definitely made it. And, Mr. Cook had all three. Through it all the Idol rocker kept showing how appreciative he was for Clevelanders spending their hard-earned income on tickets to his show.
The former American Idol champ sang his signature hits like “Come Back to Me” and “Light On,” and even threw in some covers too. If you ever doubted his reign over season seven of “Idol,” go see his show. You’ll see why America chose him.
