Cleve-Lens: Coldplay
Credit:Aaron Mendelsohn
After postponing its original July date, Coldplay finally made it to Cleveland for the first time in over three years on Tuesday, October 21, playing to a two-thirds full Quicken Loans Arena.
Touring in support of this year's "Viva la Vida," Coldplay was in fine form, splitting its 90-minute set between its current album and its most recognizable numbers. Songs like "Clocks," "The Scientist," and "Fix You" were mixed with "Violet Hill," "42," and "Strawberry Swing," as the band's light show and arena theatrics produced a memorable performance.—Aaron Mendelsohn
