Chicago punk rockers Alkaline Trio brought the noise before a jam-packed crowd Friday night at the House of Blues.
The angst veterans played many songs from the new album, "Agony and Irony," including "I Found Away" and "Calling all Skeletons."
Matt Skiba rocked it out on guitar and vocals, while bassist Dan Adriano and drummer Derek Grant backed up Skiba's melodramatic lyrics and churning riffs. The band's young fans didn't wait long to begin crowd-surfing to the hardcore punkers fast-rockin' songs.
