You can get another dimension from some of the hottest musical acts on the Nintendo 3DS.

New to the Nintendo Video application on the handheld game system is a 3D video of The Shin's song The Rifle's Spiral from the band's latest album Port of Morrow.

The Nintendo 3DS has a 3-D and 2-D exclusive on the video this weekend. "Stop-motion in 3-D has a special quality of bringing the subtle handmade details to the forefront, so we were so excited to have Nintendo premiere the video on Nintendo 3DS," says the video's director, Jamie Caliri, who won an Emmy for the title design for the Showtime TV series United States of Tara. "People can watch it in 3-D without special glasses, which should make it easier to see those details shine through. Times have changed - music videos aren't just for TV or computers anymore."

Other videos available include "So Good" from B.o.B; coming soon: "Save World Get Girl" from I Fight Dragons.

Here's a teaser from The Shins' video for The Rifle's Spiral, obviously not in 3-D.
