9. Weinergate rears its, er, ugly head
New York Congressman Anthony Weiner—and, indeed, his wiener—became front-page news at the end of May when the politician sent a picture of his homonymed body part to a female Twitter follower, which then, of course, ended up on the web the very next day. Although Weiner initially denied the manhood in question was his, several other women came forward to report the same kind of correspondence. Weiner resigned from Congress. His wiener’s current job status is unknown.
