For years, ABC has donated its valuable airspace to the noble pursuit of helping the world’s most eligible single men and women find true love on “The Bachelor” and its lady-centric spin-off, “The Bachelorette.” Unfortunately, it hasn’t always worked out so well.
As a matter of fact, it’s technically worked out (i.e. marriage) just twice. Most other contestants have parted ways, amicably or dramatically, to focus their energies on careers, other relationships and public intoxication.
