Angel: Patrick Swayze, “Ghost”

Gunned down in a contract killing, Swayze’s Sam Wheat spends the first chapter of eternity reaching out to a psychic (Whoopi Goldberg) and wrapping his arms around his clay pottery-loving widow (Demi Moore). Unlike other movie angels, Sam doesn’t understand his mission; instead, he remains bound to Earth out of a commitment to justice and eternal love. But once his killers are brought to justice, he’s able to move on.
