Cleve-Lens: Portage Lakes 4th of July 2011
The long holiday weekend brought plenty of partiers to the Portage Lakes to celebrate the 4th of July.
The main events were held on Sunday, July 3, including a boat parade and a sand castle-building contest. That all came before the 30-minute fireworks display, which erupted along the shores of Portage Lakes State Park. Onlookers packed into the park as many others boarded their boats to watch the sky sizzle.
