Photos from the annual dragon boat race on the West Bank of the Flats
The 2009 Cleveland Dragon Boat Festival was held Saturday, Aug. 30 on the West Bank of the Flats. Hundreds turned out to participate in the opening ceremony at Cyrus Waterfront Restaurant, which was quickly followed by the races.
Nearly a dozen teams competed in the waterfront race, which helped raise funds for The Gathering Place, a cancer support center.
