Cleveland Asian Festival
While a few showers and clouds dampened the community Saturday morning, the weather cleared up the rest of the day as thousands of people attended the first ever Cleveland Asian Festival.
Dragon dances, martial arts demos, inflatable sumo wrestling, an egg roll-eating contest and dozens of food vendors were just a few of the things featured during the day-long event, which took place along Payne Avenue between E. 27th and E. 30th streets.
Several familiar faces were seen at the festival celebrating the city's Asian culture including Mayor Frank Jackson and TV personality Lynna Lai.
