Chili Bowl 5K 2011
More than 1,200 Clevelanders came out to Tower 230 early Saturday morning to compete in the annual Hermes Sport & Social Chili Bowl 5K.
There's no doubt about it … it was cold outside. Runners even said they felt like their faces were freezing off during the race. Clearly though, the frigid temps didn't keep people away as this year marked the largest turnout ever. Dozens of spectators lined the course too.
After the race, runners warmed up inside the bar at Tower 230 with a free hot bowl of chili. Mmmm ...
From registration to the race to the last bite of chili, we were on site capturing it all on camera. Click through our gallery to see who braved the elements to run the 2011 Chili Bowl 5K.
