BYOB Block Party 2010
On Saturday, more than 150 Clevelanders came to the Battery Park sand courts ready to play volleyball in the first ever BYOB Block Party.
The event started like this: sunny skies, a DJ bumping summer party tunes, bathing suits, beer and burgers from Reddstone. It was the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
But then the rain rolled in. You’d think that would kill a party, right? Not when it’s a Metromix party. People busted out the umbrellas, the DJ played “Blame It On the Rain,” a dance party ensued and the volleyball tourney carried on until “Limona Coronas” came out victorious.
