The all-female roller derby league opened their 2011 season Saturday at the Wolstein Center. If you were there, you know how hard core and fun roller derby can be—from the fans to the skaters. If you weren't, you gotta take a look at the pics and see for yourself.
The night began with a match up between the Cleveland Steamers and the Hellbombers and after a brief half time, the Hard Knockers took on reigning champs the Rolling Pin-Ups.
These girls know how to play hard, and with names like The Killustrator and Demolition Diva, would you expect any less? Not only are they tough, they're super athletic and some are faster on four tiny wheels than you could possibly imagine. It's probably the most fun you can have watching girls in fishnets and elbow pads smack each other around an oval, all in pursuit of being named BRRG champion.
