Browns vs. Patriots tailgate 2010
Browns football and Cleveland tailgating…they're "like a box of chocolates: You never know what you’re gonna get." (Sorry, for the "Forrest Gump" reference. It just seemed so fitting).
Coming off our big win against the Saints two weeks ago, people in the pit were pumped Sunday before our Brownies took on the Patriots—the team with the best record in the league coming into the game—at home.
As usual…drinks were flowing, grills were cookin' and the sounds of party music engulfed the entire parking lot. We passed out Metromix beer gloves to the masses. And, we witnessed the newest tailgate drinking games to hit the pit, like "Whack the Weiner." Don’t worry, it’s nothing X-rated. You simply put a bratwurst on a plastic cup and try to smack the crap out of it with a stick. And then there were the "Mighty Helmet Races," where tailgaters were ramming remote control helmet cars into one another on a fake football field.
The Browns continued the fun by pummeling the Patriots by a score of 34 to 14!
What a day….
