APL Metromix Fashion Show 2011
A love for animals, the world of fashion and about 300 Clevelanders came together Saturday night at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland Arcade for the second annual APL Metromix Fashion Show.
The theme this year was "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," and eventgoers saw exclusive designs from Virginia Marti designers representing categories like "The Working Girl," "The Party Girl," and "The Go-Green Girl." Several Cleveland Indians’, Browns’ and Gladiator wives along with Channel 3 talent acted as celebrity models. Students and grads from the Virginia Marti College of Art and Design showcased their collections.
The event was hosted by "Good Company's" Andrea Vecchio and Amy Hafner, the Cleveland APL spokesperson and wife of Travis Hafner. Hair and makeup was provided exclusively by Charles Scott Salon and Spa.
A special performance from the Gladiator Goddesses was another highlight of the evening.
After a long day of dress rehearsals, getting ready and then the big show, the event ended up raising nearly $3,000 for the Cleveland Animal Protective League.
