APL Metromix Fashion Show
The world of fashion, a love for animals and about 500 Clevelanders came together Saturday night at Anatomy Nightclub + Ultralounge for what culminated in the first ever APL Metromix Fashion Show.
The theme was “Evolution: Flashing Forward From Modern to Futuristic Fashion,” as we saw designs representing the 1940s and 50s all the way through futuristic. Several Cleveland Indians’ and Browns’ wives acted as celebrity models. Students and grads from the Virginia Marti College of Art and Design showcased their collections. Cleveland Browns left tackle Joe Thomas even showed up to support his wife and one of our models for the evening, Annie.
Performances from the Rock City Dancers were another highlight of the evening.
After a long day of dress rehearsals, getting ready and then the big show, we ended up raising over $2,200 for the Cleveland Animal Protective League.
