Cleve-Lens: 110th Feast of the Assumption
Little Italy's 110th annual Feast of the Assumption drew thousands of people to its weekend-long event. The neighborhood festival featured carnival games and rides, live musical performances, and (the icing on the cake) food vendors. Restaurants along Murray Hill and Mayfield roads set up food tents outside their businesses, and served everything from lobster, crab cakes, pasta and strombolis, to cannolis, gelatos and Italian ices. Families and friends visited the festival multiple times throughout the weekend to sample as many treats as possible that Little Italy has to offer.
