When the temperature gets cold enough to turn on the refrigerated slopes, Strongsville's Chalet (part of the Cleveland Metroparks) is a tobogganer's cold, wet dream. The two 1,000-foot chutes operate with or without snow, and are totally worth the billion-or-so stairs you have to climb to get to the top. In addition to tobogganing, guests can enjoy the facility's snack bar, two fireplaces, big-screen TV, indoor restrooms and a main gathering area.
