The Wally World Festival returns again this weekend to celebrate its 40th year at Harbor Inn in the Flats.

The annual block party kicked off its three-day celebration Friday afternoon with live music, food and plenty of booze.

Metromix was there to capture it all as The Sausage Shoppe prepared for the evening's Slovenian sausage-eating contest. Other events scheduled throughout the weekend include a cornhole tournament, a 5K run and a polka party that concludes on Sunday, June 14.
