Who says you can't drink and run?
Hundreds of Clevelanders flooded the streets of downtown to partake in a fun Cinco de Mayo event called "Run for the Border." Sponsored by Hermes Cleveland sports management group, two-person teams were given checkpoints located within the downtown area and had to race to each place taking the shortest and quickest route possible.
Once they reached their destinations, the team had to take a "refreshing" shot or drink of alcohol before moving on to the next location. The race started and ended at The Blind Pig.
Everyone who participated seemed to enjoy the foot race, judging by the photos we captured. Click through our photo gallery to see who was "flashed" by our Metromix camera.
