Hip-ART charity event
May 2, 2009
Clevelanders partied with a purpose Saturday night at Front Room Art Gallery.
The co-op art gallery hosted Hip-ART (a unique charity event that combines urban music and art), raising money for the non-profit organization, Center for Families and Children.
Poet Kisha Nicole Foster kicked off the event with a spoken word performance before the DJ turned up the tunes that brought party-goers out onto the dance floor. Art, hors d'oeuvres, music and more kept everyone entertained throughout the night. Two lucky winners won an autographed photo of Indians' player Asdrubal Cabrera and a Howie Green painting of Biggie Smalls in the evening's raffle.

This was a great event, with a nice mixed crowd, and great music by DJ Majette.
