Cleve-Lens: A Shot in the Dark 2009

More than 2,000 Clevelanders had the same three-word objective Saturday at the annual "A Shot in the Dark" race hosted by the Winking Lizard and Hermes Sport & Social ... run, then drink!

Strong winds and heavy rain just an hour before race time didn't stop runners from lacing up their shoes and hitting the streets. And, after the two-mile and four-mile races were over, the sun finally came out just in time for the partying to begin. Beer, burgers and cover tunes from Cleveland's Breakfast Club were just a few of the highlights that made this year's race truly an unforgettable one.
