Clifton Arts and Music Festival
Closing down Clifton Boulevard June 21st (for the 21st year in a row), the Clifton Arts and Music Festival welcomes the beginning of summer by bringing art to the masses with high and low brow pieces for sale.  Browse pottery, jewelry and clay sculptures alongside watercolors and photographs, priced from $20 to $2,000.  The festival is a juried arts competition, so only the finest local artists, as well as talented artists from neighboring states, are selected to display their work.

An assortment of area art lovers descend on the street for the festival, which always draws a big crowd. Celebrating the diversity of art on display, the festival also features live music from different cultures. This year's sets include Panic, Band of Brothers, Straight Six Dixie, Ms. Amanda Jones and more.

Come hungry, as festival food ties into the multicultural theme with vendors serving up gyros, baklava, ribs and sandwiches. Clifton businesses also participate, opening up their restaurants and shops to festival-goers. For those looking to imbibe in between perusing the art, a few west-side bars along the street offer wine and specialty beers.
