The old school tailgating experience in bar form

A night spent at Tailgators Sports Bar is akin to a pre-game football tailgate behind a dusty, old pickup. The setting might be nothing to write home about, but throw in a few close pals and a couple coolers worth of cheap beer, and you’ve got yourself one heck of a fun time.
That’s generally what you’ll find at this Avon Lake hole in the wall. Though the bar has definitely seen better days—its green-carpeted floors are stained and worn, and its mustard-colored walls could use a fresh coat of paint—the blue-collar crowd that packs inside imbibes the joint with a raucous energy and boisterous spirit that will warm your innards and put a smile on your face. In short, Tailgators isn’t necessarily a destination in and of itself, but it’s a damned fun place to be.
