Yumm 1.2 at Mercury Lounge
On Monday night, Cleveland's most daring foodies and partygoers flocked to Mercury Lounge to experience Yumm 1.2—Taste da new Flava. Organized by the innovative apparel company, Stove Monkeys, the second food-tasting event featured several unique food creations including liquid nitrogen poached ice cream, coconut bubbles, inside-out deviled eggs and liquid baked potato. Dim and Den Sum also made an appearance and passed out "fried chicken" tacos for the crowd to sample.
New to the event was molecular cocktails prepared by Mike Gulley. Drink concoctions included liquid nitrogen banana fosters, maple and bacon old fashion and the mojito of the future.
The patio was packed as patrons enjoyed the creative food samples, free Vitamin Water and great company.
