St. Patrick's Day 2011
This year, Metromix decided to change things up a bit.
Instead of partying it up at one bar, we decided to "bring da ruckus" to five bars downtown.
We started the day at House of Blues where Brian & Joe and The Endorsements entertained the crowd singing pop cover songs ("California Girls," anyone?) and helped the Metromix crew toss St. Patrick's Day T-shirts and beads into the crowd.
Next up: City Tap. We hit up the new bar handing out more beads and T-shirts. We "flashed" Clevelanders, found some "winning" T-shirts and then headed to our final morning destination—The Clevelander.
The Clevelander's patio was packed and rightfully so—the weather was oh-so perfect at 60 degrees. Partygoers hit up the bar for some St. Patty's Day action as well as catch some of the NCAA tournament (March Madness, baby!). We ended our morning bar hopping right before the parade for a little R&R before heading back out to West 6th in the afternoon.
