Lakewood Wing Crawl 2011
More than 800 Clevelanders got their eat on Saturday at the 6th annual Lakewood Wing Crawl put on by the Pillars of Lakewood.
Wing crawlers stopped at 11 bars along Detroit Road (Around the Corner, Avenue Tap House/Guy's Pizza, Midtown Booths Tavern, Deagan's Kitchen & Bar, Eddy and Iggy's, Gepetto's, Harry Buffalo, Merry Arts Bar & Grille, Plank Road Tavern, Pug Mahone's and Riverwood Café), taste-testing six wings at each eatery, voting on their favorite and enjoying drink specials too.
This year, the shuttle that was available for people to ride from place to place was a sweet, pimped-out Mercedes.
For the third year in a row, Metromix was a main sponsor for the event, so of course we were at every single bar along the route capturing all of the messy fingers, beer drinkers and wing lovers on camera.
