Bartender exchange at VTR
On Monday night, the Velvet Tango Room "shook" things up a bit with a few special guests from the Windy City.
The speakeasy lounge welcomed Brad Bolt and Eric Hay, bartenders from Chicago's Bar Deville, who crafted several of their signature classic cocktails in honor of the bartender exchange. Bar DeVille will host bartenders from the Velvet Tango Room on Nov. 9 and 10.
During the bartender exchange, each bar will feature a special cocktail menu to showcase its bartenders’ finest work. On Monday evening, Velvet Tango Room founder Paulius Nasvytis welcomed media and special guests to a private reception to sample the Chicago mixologists' cocktails before opening the lounge to the public.
