Skinny: Hefeweizens are my favorite beers and Rocky River Brewing Co.'s summer Hefe did not disappoint. The Hefeweizen was brewed with wheat and pilsner malts then fermented with a weinstephen yeast to create a fruity, banana-clove character. (I stole this info straight from the tapped beer catalog. Sorry folks. I'm not really a beer connoisseur.) The beverage was smooth, cool and refreshing and was the perfect afternoon drink sitting outside on RRBC's ultra-cool patio.
