Cleveland Common

Cleveland Common at Cleveland Chop House
ABV: 4.9 percent
Damage: $4.25
Skinny: This was by far my favorite summer brew from the mix. Light, smooth, refreshing and not very bitter—the Cleveland Common was very easy on the palate. Common beers (as we were told) are fermented with lager yeasts at ale temperatures, which originated in the west before refridgeration was invented. The Chop House's medium-bodied version is a light amber color with hints of caramel notes in its flavor and aroma. As my friend put it: "It's a beautiful aroma. It sets you up for a delicious mouthful of beer."
