Food
Very simple bar food can be expected. There is a single cook who takes over the kitchen and on this particular occasion, she had time off. When that happens, the bartender is the one who takes over and she wasn’t sure of what exactly was in the freezer, making some requests on the menu unable to be fulfilled.
Fortunately, since they had all of the obvious favorites of french fries, quesadillas, mozzarella sticks and chicken fingers, my needs were met. There was just one mishap where marinara, blue cheese, and ranch dressing were served with my quesadillas. I just assumed that it was all due to the cook’s absence, so it wasn’t too big of a deal.
I spoke with a woman named Judy, the owner of The Sports Page, and she mentioned that after July 4th, the cook will definitely be in every Wednesday as they will have a $6 steak dinner served with a baked potato. You can add a side salad for another dollar.
